Diane St. John is the founder and principal of Human Resources Pacific Northwest (HRPNW), a leading provider of HR consulting services. Diane has decades of leadership experience aligning people strategy with business goals to drive organizational performance. She brings extensive HR experience across the technology, nonprofit, government, and biotechnology sectors.

Diane leads a talented team of versatile HR professionals known for their strategic thinking, adaptability, and depth of experience. With a focus on building strong organizational foundations, her team excels in navigating business challenges handling all people operations - from talent sourcing and acquisition through the employee life cycle. As trusted human resources consulting partners, they bring a thoughtful, business-focused approach to every engagement. Diane has deep experience building appropriately staged HR infrastructure and guiding organizations through measured growth phases, mergers and acquisitions, restructurings, and cultural transformation. 

Notable accomplishments include leading talent acquisition for the commercial launch of Seattle Genetics’ first oncology drug, ADCETRIS® (brentuximab vedotin), and staffing for the launch of ICOS Corporation’s DTC drug, Cialis® (tadalafil).Previous Board of Director roles include serving as Board Secretary for the Benaroya Research Institute at Virginia Mason, Board Ambassador for Fred Hutch Cancer Research Center, and Board Member for Seattle SHRM, Wellspring Family Services, and the Northwest Region of the Arthritis Foundation. She has served as a volunteer with the HR group of Life Science Washington.

She holds an Executive MBA from the Foster School of Business at the University of Washington. She is an ICF certified coach and maintains both SPHR and SHRM-SCP certifications.
